Good Morning Wednesday!

Need a laugh this morning? Read on..

While getting ready for my day, kids still sleeping, I was startled by my husband who was supposed to be at work. I proceeded to whack him with the hairbrush in my hand when he startled me. Poor guy. The reason why he was home? When packing his uniform the night before he grabbed a pillowcase instead of his uniform tshirt. Close in color, not hard to do in the dark, Funny none the less. Good to know I can defend my house with my hairbrush huh? =)

Taking my little one back for another burn appointment today and for shots. Big day for her. Hopefully getting my treasury of the week posted tonight or tomorrow. Stay tuned!

New Creation!

I listed my first girls purse design on Etsy today! This is a great little purse for a toddler or for an elementary aged little girl. Great for spring or for Easter. It can be made in your choice of colors. So excited to finally have it listed! Check it out. Available in my Etsy Shop now.

Tuesday Shop Feature!

Are you a military spouse? Is your husband deployed right now? Are you not so anxiously counting down the days until the next deployment? Do you like to support the businesses of those who are married to or enlisted in the military?

Today I am featuring My Sweet Baby Love Boutique. Jen, founder of My Sweet Baby Love Boutique, mother, and USMC spouse, came up with the idea for her shop two years ago. While celebrating her first Christmas with her husband she was looking for a gift on a budget, as most of us do! They decided to make gifts for one another. Her gift to her husband was a quilt made from his favorite things. After Christmas she found out she was pregnant and started sewing  some items for her daughter. With a new found love for sewing Jen discovered Etsy from a friend and has never looked back. In October 2010 My Sweet Baby Love Boutique opened on Etsy. This venture has been an excellent way for Jen to be a stay at home mom while her husband is serving our Country.

When visiting this Etsy Shop you will find fabulous hand created items. I personally LOVE the Custom Military Stuffed puppy. This cute puppy is made from a service members uniform blouse. The rank and name strip are used to further make this a one of a kind gift for your child, or loved one. I think even I would like to have one of these when hubby deploys, or just as a great momento!

CRAZY week!

The past week in our house has been CRAZY. My youngest burnt her hand last Sunday which led to a list of doctor appointments. Thursday my oldest turned 5. Friday my 2nd came down with strep throat. Saturday was my birthday and it was spent at Urgent care and taking care of puny babies. Today my oldest and youngest were positive for strep. I'm one tired momma! Finally getting back to normal. I'm working on my blog feature of the week to post either tonight or tomorrow. So excited for you to learn about this super shop and shop owner!
